Vigno
Vigno is a brand created in Chile in 2009. It is formed today by 14 wineries, all located in the Central Zone, united under an association called Vignadores de Carignan, which is based on the model of a classic European AOC.
Our Vigno is a special wine. It is made with 100% Carignan, a variety that comes from hundred-year-old vineyards located in Maule’s unirrigated and rain fed Secano Costero (Coastal Dryland), and is kept in the winery for two years before being released.
Vigno
Of intense and deep ruby-red color with a slightly violet hue, it offers a great array of aromas that remind of cherries, liquorice, black fruits and mushrooms, in addition to notes of apricots, white peaches, pears and a touch of lychee. It feels ripe and elegant on the palate, juicy and round, with notes of black currants and vanilla, ripe tannins and a long and complex ending.
